  2. After that comes preparation of the gravy. For that prepare the masala paste first.
  3. For the masala paste, chop tomatoes and onions. Put them in a grinder. Add garlic, ginger and green chillies along with it.
  4. Now blend it and put it in the oil. Saute them well. Add salt, turmeric powder, cumin-coriander powder and sugar. Mix everything.
  5. Cook them in low flame till the raw smell of masala goes away. Then add 1 cup water to thicken up the gravy. Cover it with lid and let it cook in low flame for a while.
  6. It goes best with rice.
