Clean the small scales and chop off the head of fish.This fish can be batter fried whole.Here fish has been deboned by cutting open the belly part with a kitchen scissor.Spread flat and smear little salt and lemon juice.Make a paste of onion with vinegar.Add ginger garlic paste,coriander green chilli paste,turmeric,salt and sugar.Mix all with 1 tbsp gramflour and rice flour.Smear this paste all over the fish.Let it rest for sometime.Remove excess juice from the smeared fish.
  2. Make a slurry of cornflour or maida with gramflour.Mix little salt in it. Dip each masala coated fish in it and coat with breadcrumbs. Allow it to set in fridge for half hour.Heat oil in a pan and fry topse fish.Serve crispy fried fish with salad and sauce as a starter or simply enjoy with dal and jeera rice.
